The gardens are a 5 to 10-minute walk from North Sydney or Milson's Point railway stations or a 10 to 15-minute harbourside walk from Milsons Point.
Tucked away on Sydney harbour you will find a beautiful spot to explore, enjoy a bite to eat and you wouldn’t even know you were 10 mins from Sydney CBD.
To keep Wendy’s garden secret, you will not see any signage. We used google maps and references from the garden when you see the big fig tree you have reached your destination.
The garden came to life when Wendy's husband passed away and she then decided to clear the site in front of her house and create a wonderful inviting garden. It's worth taking the time to read about the history of tragedies that lead her to creating the garden.
Ellie's Little Opinion - There were lots of different plants and trees to see. It was fun siting down at the different areas, it was very peaceful. The view of the city was amazing at top of the garden you could see the Harbour Bridge.
Even the kids enjoyed the adventure and looking at the different plants & exploring the garden.
We took advantage of it being so close to the city and jumped on a ferry to enjoy lunch at the quay.
