Little Opinions braved the rain and off we went to the Easter Show for 2014.
2014 is much the same as the previous years and it's still expensive, but it is also lots of fun!
Little Opinions says: We loved the rides, the Jurassic roller coaster and the free fall were our favourites. We loved checking out the showbags and we brought the Peppa Pig, H20 Mermaids, Mako Island Mermaid and Loom bags. We loved being able to go into the nursery and pat the farm animals.
Mum's Big Opinion: Most of the rides were 5 or more coupons, we didn't have to wait long in line but the rides were short. We took a break at the Psycho sideshow which had crazy stunts and later told the kids if they kept misbehaving we would take them back to stay with the lizard man.
We stayed to watch the fireworks which were worth the wait and got to watch the evening show "Australia in all its glory" which was like a budget closing ceremony for the Olympics. There was some great Australian imagery of Australia mixed with some cringe worthy moments of sheep, lawnmowers and hats riding on cars!
Next year I will again take advantage of the early bird tickets which save you 15% on entry and this time I'll also purchase the ride coupons online prior with the discount offers to save some $$$.
One tip, remember to pre purchase parking; when we got there it was sold out and we had to walk a distance from the next car park.
Although expensive it was a hit once again with the kids and we will be returning in 2015 to do it all over again!!!
