Paddington's adventure starts when an earthquake destroys his home in the Peruvian jungle. Paddington then says goodbye to his aunty, packs up his marmalade, a spare sandwich and his beloved uncle's hat, and travels to London to search for a better life.
Paddington meets a new family and his new life in London begins with him looking for an explorer his aunt always spoke about.
I didn't like it when Paddington's house in the jungle fell apart, that was sad. It did get a bit scary at times as I didn't want anything bad to happen to Paddington, but I still really liked watching the movie.
Ellie's Little Opinion: I liked the Paddington movie, it was fun to watch and it is one of my favourite movies at the moment. I would like to see it again and I've already asked if we can buy it on DVD when it comes out.
The best part about the movie was when Paddington drank the soap and burped it out. I didn't expect the part about the scary lady and who she ended up being. My sister was a little scared but I am 8 and I wasn't scared at all.
I also found the movie a little scary for the younger ones, there were a few occasions I was shocked when not so nice things happened to Paddington in the movie.
I must admit, Paddington looked like a real bear interacting with the other actors - the animation was terrific. I thought Nicole Kidman played a great scary bad lady.
I would recommend Paddington, but just watch the little ones in the scary parts. Lots of laughs and fun for the family.
