Mr Peabody and Sherman at the movies

Ellie went to see Mr Peabody and Sherman on the big screen, the movie went for around 1 1/2 hours.

We enjoyed watching his adventures in the WABAC machine. He was one very smart DOG!


 Ellie's Little Opinion on the movie:

• I really thought it was funny when the rock fell on the lady
• I liked it when the man grabbed the lady and flew off into the sky with her never to return
• I thought the movie was a bit funny when they flew out of the bottom of the Egypt statue and Mr Peabody said well we are the butt of that joke!
• Mr Peabody always knew how to get out of trouble, especially when they were going to chop his head off. 
• I enjoyed the movie and think other kids would also like to see it
• There was also a funny little movie just before the movie started with Aliens called Almost home, it was very strange.

Mum's Big Opinion:

• I liked the movie there was alot of one liners that many adults laughed at but the kids had no idea what was so funny.
• It did reference a lot of history which younger kids would have trouble understanding what was happening, older kids would probably enjoy it more.
• Of course there was Mr Peabody popcorn so even at 9.30am we had to get that!!

We did see many trailers for new movies coming soon, there was Tinkerbell and the Pirate Fairy and Rio 2 which both looked good. We also saw a trailer for Maleficent and it does look very scary Ellie wouldn't even watch it  and took refuge under my arm so she couldn't see the screen!
