Ellie & Alyssa's Little Opinion: Ellie "I liked playing golf and trying to get the ball in the hole, but I really didn't like the scary skeleton's and the noise coming from the holes that freaked me out, I am not sure if I want to go back". Alyssa "I had heaps of fun hitting the ball and I thought it was really funny when Ellie got scared". "I liked hitting the ball into the different holes -it was crazy fun"!
Mum's Big Opinion, before going I checked it out on the website and it said "Enjoy our challenging holes with interesting surprises" well it was interesting as sometimes we lost our ball or they got stuck. It was good to give it a go, some of the holes are falling apart, one hole the ball went nowhere and got caught in the wheel or maybe that was just my lack of golfing experience!!!
Compared to other activities it wasn't great value, we finished the course in 50 minutes that was with a group of 3 adults and 4 children casually completing the holes at their own pace.
The positive, the course is indoors and air conditioned so no matter the weather you can go. The cost is $36.00 for a family of 4 which I would say would entertain you for less than 1 hour. The kids enjoyed popping over to McDonalds next door afterwards and we stayed longer at their play equipment. There is an area to eat with a few food options but nothing very flash, McDonalds was the better option next door.
They are open 6 a days a week, closed on Mondays (Only during school terms). You can find more details at their website http://minigolfking.com.au/ .
