Alyssa's Little Opinion: I have so many apps I love playing. It was so hard to choose my favourite but I have picked 3, that I play all the time  Hoopa City, Healthy Eater and Travel Safety Tips.

Hoopa City;
In Hoopa City you can build a village, it's all about designing your own town. You can save the game and come back later to continue to build it.
Info: Currently the app will cost you $3.79. There are no in-app purchases or third party ads. This game is designed for 6-8 year olds but Alyssa (5 years) has not struggled with this game and has built 10 worlds.

We all enjoy playing the many applications we can find on our handheld devices. The app store is always growing with new apps and our favourite app is always changing.

So I've asked the girls to provide me with their Little Opinions and  let me know their favourite apps, they enjoy playing at the moment.

Also in Mum's Big Opinion, I've listed a couple of great educational games the kids enjoy playing.

Travel Safety Tips - Baby Bus: This app is about providing safety awareness to children. Kiki the baby Panda runs into many problems and your there to give him a helping hand.
Info: There is currently no charge for this app, but does have links to other games that you pay for.
Designed for children aged 3 - 6 years old

Ellie's Little Opinion:  I play lots of different games and my favourites are always changing. At the moment, I really like playing My PlayHome which includes My HomeStore, My Playhouse and My School. I also enjoy Dr Panda Swimming Pool and I am having lots of fun in Minecraft building my house.

My Play Home: Its an interactive doll house where the kids can use everything, even the closets, TV and shower. They can fry an egg and feed the family pizza. The doll house can grow over time and new accessories and rooms are added for free.
It is designed so that even a 2 year old can use it, but still can entertain my 8 year old.
Info: The app is approx. AUD$4.00, but there are no advertisements or in app purchases.

If you like the sound of Dr Panda just search in your app store "Dr Panda" there are many different types such as Shopping, Restaurant, Handyman, Airport, Day Care,  Beauty Salon to name a few. Please note the majority are free but the more popular apps cost $$$.

Mum's Big Opinion: I have chosen Letter School and Teach Me Maths Facts as great educational apps for the kids !

Letter School: Play this app to learn how to write the letters of the alphabet and numbers 1-10. Kids can practice essential skills as they play four exciting games per letter or number.
They will discover the shape, name and sound of all the letters and numbers. They learn to trace and then test their knowledge.
Info: This App is made for children aged 0- 5.
The App can currently be purchased for $6.50 or you can purchase the free version to check out but it doesn't have all the letters.

Teach Me Maths Facts: This app is designed to help grade school students memorise math facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
It has quizzes and a reward system to encourage the kids to play and revise their maths equations.
If your child is not a fluent reader they can still use the app as Mini the Mouse provides you with verbal instructions and feedback.
Parents can choose the topic to start with and change quiz options to suit their child.
Info: The app is currently $2.50 to purchase
Recommended for ages 6-8 years old.
