For those living in Sydney, we ventured to Central Gardens which is located in Merrylands, approximately 30 minutes from Sydney CBD.
The park is enormous, not only does it have ample space for the kids to run around and kick a ball, it also has several outdoor playing equipment areas. The park is home to a small animal enclosure which has birds, emus and kangaroo's. The kids will enjoy being able to go up close to check out the animals, maybe not to close to the emus they can be a little too friendly and peck you !
There is also plenty of options for a toilet, so you or the kids will never get stuck. When we went the toilet facilities where clean.
Although its not Niagara Falls, it also has a waterfall and viewing point. There are also stepping stones along the water for the kids to cross and get their feet wet!
There are parking facilities at the back and front entrances but quickly fill up especially at the front of the park.
Alyssa's Little Opinion: This park is huge !!!! I took my scooter and my bike and I liked going on my scooter I could go so fast. I also liked the play equipment, it was lots of fun. I also got to play tea ball with my cousin I tried to hit the ball really far, it was funny watching my mum chase after the ball.
