My girls have been asking for a long time to see a "Circus"! I just hadn't found the right circus to go too. That was until I saw a preview for A Circus Under My Bed.

A Circus Under My Bed is a truly wonderful and speculator show. It is brought to you by The Flying Fruit Fly Circus. They are young performers aged between 9 and 18 years old. I believe the age bracket of the performers helps the young children in the audience resinate and understand the story.

This show keeps you entertained for the full fifty minutes. It is about a young girl moving house and is having trouble packing her items and saying goodbye. Her dreams help her face her fears and as the audience we get to witness some great acrobatic and circus tricks that keep you on the edge of your seat and wanting more.

Alyssa's Little Opinion: My favourite part of the show was when they built the chairs up in a stack. There was so many chairs stacked up on each other and then 3 of the performers did a handstand on them, all to get a balloon that was nearly touching the ceiling.

This show was amazing. Sometimes I was scared for the performers, I didn't want them to fall off or down. I hope I can do those tricks one day.

Ellie's Little Opinions: This was a fun show to watch. The show was never boring. I liked watching all the different tricks and I especially liked when the young girl was doing the acrobatics hanging from the ceiling.
This was a great circus, there where so many tricks and it was exciting to see a show at the Opera House.
Mum's Big Opinion:  I am so glad we saw this show. It was fun and inspirational to watch the performers. Each act you would sit back and think it couldn't get better than the previous act, but it did. It was fun to see a variety of performances and their skills.

The storyline was easy to follow but may be a little harder for the real younger ones to understand it is a 'dream' but even the young ones will enjoy the performance. I wish I had dreams like that every night! I would definitely recommend for families to check out, you will not be disappointed.

We also took the opportunity to enjoy lunch at The Opera Kitchen next door and take in the magnificent view of the Sydney Harbour.

Thanks Katie for popping by and checking out our review and posting it back to the artistic director. The show was wonderful and my girls haven't stopped talking about the tricks.
