We have waited 13 years  for the sequel  "Finding Dory"! Was it worth the wait?

Yes, Little Opinions  believe it  was certainly worth the wait. It was a fun, wonderful and kind hearted movie for the whole family to enjoy.

In the sequel, Dory returns with her friends Nemo and Marlin.
Dory
starts to remember things about her past and wants to uncover them. Dory against the odds  and her poor  memory loss condition she searches for her parents and tries to find answers to her many questions (if only she could remember them!).

We also get to meet fun, new, lovable characters along the way such as Hank the Octopus, Destiny the whale, Bailey the Beluga and of course Dory's parents Jenny & Charlie.

- The bright , fun lovable characters featured in the movie.

-  It was funny and we laughed alot.
-  It  was easy to follow just like the shells in the movie!

We check out the next instalment Hotel Transylvania 2

24/11/2015

Picture
Hotel Transylvania is back for the second instalment.

This time around everything seems to be changing for the better at Hotel Transylvania... Dracula has changed his rigid monster-only hotel policy and now human guests are also able to stay.

Drac has just become a grandfather for the first time to his adorable half-human, half-vampire grandson called Dennis. But Drac is concerned when Dennis doesn't show any signs of being a vampire.

Alyssa's Little Opinion (5 Years Old): I loved this movie so much, I would like to see it again.
I wasn't  really scared during the movie, it was fun seeing all the different monsters. There was one part when I did get a little scared when Dennis climbed the really high building and tried to fly, I really thought he was going to hurt himself.
I was surprised on how it ended.

Ellie's Little Opinion (9 Years Old):  I thought Hotel Transylvania 2 was much better tha the original movie.
There was lots of action and funny scenes. It was fun to watch their son grow up and see if he would become Dracula or NOT!
I didn't think  the movie was scary, i really enjoyed it.
I hope I can see it again....

Mum's Big Opinion: We checked out an advance screening of the movie on Halloween!

It was a perfect choice for Halloween  with lots of different monsters cast in the movie.
The movie  had lots of  funny scenes and easy for the kids to follow. There are some scary scenes but they pass very quickly.

I must admit it was a little slow at the beginning to get into the story line but it is a great family flick for kids of all ages to watch!

Our Review on the New Pixels The Movie

2/10/2015

Thanks to one of our Little Opinions subscribers who went along to Event Cinemas and reviewed for us the new Pixels Movie. Check out their review below......

What's Pixels about?
When aliens misinterpret video-feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war against them, they attack the Earth, using the games as models for their various assaults.

President Will Cooper has to call on his childhood best friend, '80s video game champion Jules Brenner, now a home theatre installer, to lead a team of old-school arcaders to defeat the aliens and save the planet

Rhys Little Opinion (aged 7years):
Love it!
Pac Man eating the city of New York and car chase and was awesome. I thought it was funny when “Firehands” Eddie, asked for his list of demands in gaol, it started with him demanding an island and ending up only getting a sandwich!
The guns didn’t shoot bullets but light and that was heaps better to kill the Pixels.  I didn’t like it when the trophies were getting taken, I found that a bit scary.

Kaili's Little Opinion (aged 9years):
I thought it was a very funny movie and would see it again.
I really liked it when “Firehands” Eddie drives into the lake when he was chasing Pac Man.  My favourite character was Qbert he was funny especially as he kept wetting his pants when he was scared, and then jumping on the trampoline and went splat on the ground.  Loved the happy ending with Lady Lisa from Dojo Quest and Ludlow.
Picture
Mum's Big Opinion (Allison):
I was surprised at how much the kids enjoyed the movie, I thought with all the references back to the 80’s they wouldn’t understand i.e. who is Ronald Reagan, Madonna etc.

But it’s more of a trip down memory lane, for those of us over 35, than important to story line of who these people are.  The movie gets straight to the point which was great, you didn’t have to wait long before they showed video games.  I think with my kids having watched “Wreck it Ralph” helped with the knowledge of different types of arcade games.

A very weak storyline, about friends, cheating and lying but quite funny, amusing and lots of action movie.
Key Information:
-
Pixels was released nationally in Australia on 10th September 2015
- Pixels running time is 106 minutes
- The movie is rated PG with; Mild themes, violence, coarse language and sexual references

Blinky Bill The Movie is now showing nationally in cinemas. The movie is all about Blinky Bill dreaming of leaving the little town of Green Patch & following in his missing father’s footsteps.

When Blinky discovers a mysterious marker that hints at his Dad’s whereabouts, he embarks on an exciting journey.
Along the way he makes friends with Nutsy (A Zoo caged Koala) & Jacko (a frill-necked lizard).

Together the trio work together to survive the rugged Australian landscape and find Blinky’s missing father!

Alyssa's Little Opinion (5years): I liked this movie, it was fun to watch. I would really like to go back and see it again. Blinky made me laugh alot, he was very funny.
I liked how Blinky did not give up and searched for his missing dad. I didn't like the bad cat he was nasty to Blinky and his friends.

Mitchell's Little Opinion (6years): I liked watching this movie. My favourite part was at the end when they all had to work together and then Blinky caught the rope from his dad. I also liked how Blinky made friends with Nutsy and where she ended up going at the end of the movie.
Picture
Mum's Big Opinion: This was a nice Australian family movie and it was fun to watch Blinky Bill come alive on the big screen.
There were some funny moments which both the kids and adults could laugh at. There where also some one liners which I was actually surprised to be included in the movie such as the reference to the 'furry butt'.
There were quite a few shrieks from the audience when the bad cat appeared. The cat was very nasty and did frighten a few of the kids in the cinema.

This is a great flick for all ages to see at the movies during these September school holidays!

Release Dates: NSW/VIC/QLD - Sep 17 & WA/SA/ACT/NT - Sep 24
